This hook will obtain data from Steam for your users and place it in your IP.Board database for use anywhere on your site. Your board will re-load your members Steam information, in batches, every 15 minutes, time can be changed, so you always have up to date information without impacting load times of your community pages. This hook, out of the box, will display steam information in the following places Member Profile userInfoPane (Next to all of their posts) Board Index IP.Content page (IP.Content Block included) Member Hovercards (Steam Online Status only) More detailed information about the members Steam profile are displayed on the Members Profile page. Including an optional list of games the member owns. Out of the box the list of games can be shown in either an image grid layout, or list view. If you'd like to see other layouts, let me know or tweak the templates to your liking. This hook integrates seamlessly with Lavo's Sign in through Steam.. It will automatically detect if it is installed and pull that users information. Don't have Lavo's sign in installed? No problem, this hook works with a Custom Profile field also. Want to use both a custom profile field AND Lavo's hook? Not a problem, this hook seamlessly pulls information from both locations to create a single list of users to pull information. Valid Steam Input format for Custom Profile Field: Steam Name: ex. ' Aiwa ' http://steamcommunity.com/id/Aiwa 17 digit Steam ID: ex. 76561197964468370 http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197964468370 Old school Steam ID: ex. STEAM_0:0:2101321 If there are any other places you'd like to see a users steam information displayed, let me know. It's a very simple matter to output this data on other parts of your IPS Community. In order for this hook to pull your information, your Steam profile status must be set to Public.

  3. Hi, When will Steam Profile Integration be compatible with IPB 4.6? Currently it uses deprecated methods.

  6. As you may know, PHP 7.x offers many performance enhancements over PHP 5.x. Up until now, Steam Profile Integration has had to maintain backwards compatibility with PHP 5.x, while trying to leverage as many benefits from PHP 7.x as possible. Well, it's time to pull off the bandaid. Steam Profile Integration 2.1.9 will be the last version to officially support PHP 5.x. Starting in Steam Profile Integration 2.2, PHP 7.x will be required as the minimum version of PHP. If you're able to control what version of PHP you're running on your server, I highly recommend updating to PHP 7 as soon as possible. For those that simply can't upgrade to PHP 7 just yet, 2.1.9 will continue to work with both IPS 4.2 and 4.3 and be the last stable version you can use. Steam Profile Integration 2.2 is a major optimization and re-factor of the code-base. More efficient code Better error handling and diagnostics Abstraction of the API layer Opens up the possibilities of collecting game stats from alternate API sources efficiently and effectively Increased consistency with the IPS UI / UX. It's exciting being able to leverage the newest technology freely so that I am able to deliver the best product to you, the customer.

  7. I went about this a slightly different way. 1) I disabled storing of empty profiles. 2) Added a filter to only show Active profiles in the table, any profile with a valid SteamID 3) Added an uninstall routine that delete all steam_no_steamid profiles. Policy is to only store profiles with some kind of steam value, even if it's bad, or they manually attempted to update their profile.

    BF1

Looks like bf1stats.com is now online. They are still working out some bugs before releasing the API endpoints, though. I'm about 50% done with the Admin side of BF4, front end still needs some style work... Not happy with the layout, but the base data is there. Hoping to get some time in the next week or two to do a sprint to a first release.

    Online Users Widget/Page

It's planned as an app page, not a collage of gadgets.

    Steam Integration here

I will look at that as either a configuration of the block or a new block. With respect to BF, appreciated. I've got the BF4 back end pretty much done, just working on the display. Still waiting for the BF1 API to go live.

  14. I'm taking requests for features to be added to the Steam Integration right behind a Battlefield Integration. Just a few of the features currently planned: App page for Steam Show top profiles Show specific groups of users Top users for specific games (pending stats pulling) Badge integration on profile (not all of them) Admin CP View Profiles table improvements Pulling stats from select games. Put in requests for which you'd like me to look into first. Not all are available via the API.
